Epista announces new SVP, Head of Central Europe

Thomas Halfmann will join Epista as new SVP, Head of Central Europe, leading the business development in Central Europa and manufacturing operations globally

We are glad to announce the newest addition to our team, Thomas Halfmann, who joins Epista as SVP, Head of Central Europe. In his role, Thomas will be responsible for Business Development in Central Europe and for Business Development globally in Manufacturing Operations.

A staunch advocate of digitalization in Life Sciences Production and Supply Chain, Thomas presents over 25 years of experience in manufacturing IT and automation within the life sciences industry.

Previously holding various senior management positions at Novartis, including Head Global Project Office, Global MES Program Manager, and Global Head Biopharmaceutical Operations IT, Thomas co-founded the renowned international life sciences consulting group HGP in 2008. Following the acquisition of HGP by NNIT in 2019, Thomas served as the Global Head Production & Laboratory for NNIT.

A distinguished figure in the world of pharmaceutical manufacturing, Thomas is a frequent speaker at international life sciences conferences, an author of several publications, and an active member of industry associations such as ISPE and others. His passion for enhancing process efficiency and quality improvement in pharmaceutical production underscores his dedication to advancing the industry through innovation and digitalization.
